Astrid de Jager
Hi, I’m Astrid, the owner of No Dive No Life. In a former life, I used to be a musicologist, writer, and editor. I took a short break to become a divemaster on Bonaire, and totally fell in love with the island and the underwater world. So shortly after I became a PADI instructor, and after gaining some teaching experience down under and above, I became an IAHD instructor and a SDI Instructor Trainer. But you’ll find I enjoy a Discover Scuba Dive just as much as training new professionals.
Hi, I’m Chris, Astrid’s partner in life and crime. I started diving in the Netherlands years ago and I just love to be in or underwater. I went to Bonaire on holiday several times, and at a certain moment I decided to stay. I have been living on this beautiful island since 2004. Diving and teaching is my passion whether it is a guided dive, an Open Water Diver course, continuing education program or specialty (PADI, SSI, SDI/TDI, WOSD/T), a course with physically or mentally disabled persons (IAHD) or a TEC course or dive, I’m your man! Besides the training in the water, I also enjoy training Emergency First Responders. On top of that I’m Instructor Trainer for SDI/TDI, EFR and IAHD.
Hi, I’m Eelco. I was born on Curacao, but spend most of my lifetime in The Netherlands, working first for the fire brigade and later for an insurance company. Although I don’t literally work for NDNL, you’ll often find me hanging out and practicing my coffee making skills. On top of that I recently started my Dive master internship.
